Prepare for the Future.
Visualising ideas, trends and computing possibilities for the business and science problems.

Overview
Turning strategic foresight into a visual collaboration tool
4CF is a strategic foresight company that helps organizations understand possible futures and make better long-term decisions.
As a UX/UI Designer, I worked on Future Map, an internal web application for remote expert workshops. The tool helped specialists discuss, score ideas, and turn complex research into clear visual outputs for clients.

Research
Understanding how experts think, discuss, and evaluate future scenarios
The product was highly specialized, so I worked closely with the 4CF team to understand their research process, workshop mechanics, scoring logic, and client deliverables.
I translated those conversations into sketches and early interaction models, then tested how experts would add arguments, react to each other, and see the map evolve in real time.
I also interviewed experts from different fields to validate the concept. Their feedback helped simplify the collaboration model and clarify where users needed more guidance.

Design
Designing a live map
The final design used a tree-like graph to visualize expert discussions, trends, arguments, and scores. As users contributed during a workshop, the map updated dynamically and could later be exported as an SVG.
I designed the core interface, onboarding flow, admin panel, leaderboard, notifications, statistic tooltips, micro-interactions, and UI elements.
A key challenge was shaping a complex algorithmic product into an interface that felt understandable, collaborative, and useful during live expert sessions.
